Tell us a little bit about yourself, your fitness story in your words.

Back in 2018, being a beginner or you can say having 0 knowledge about fitness, I started this journey somewhere when I was 90 kg. Since then there has been no looking back. In the initial days I eliminated a lot of food groups from my diet and stuck with HIIT training and finally

After 1.5 years of learning, gaining knowledge and understanding my body,  I decided to include a good balance of macronutrients in my diet combined with strength training workouts.

 

Anything you wish you knew when you started your journey?

The biggest mistake that I made in my journey was not consulting a specialist or an expert trainer in the field.

 

Do you vary your workouts to see results?

Yes, I do vary my workouts to see results. Basically it’s a concept termed as shocking the muscles. 

 

Anything you wish you had spent more time or energy on?

I wish I had spent more time in the earlier days to enhance my knowledge, especially about proper food intake and the importance of the right nutrition.

 

What do you see as your greatest strength? Weakness ?

For me Squats and Deadlifts are my strength and Bench Press is my weakness

 

 What was your goal when you started? Is it different now?

My goal is to become leaner, yes it’s different now because right now i am 70kg with good amount of muscle mass

 

 What is your personal fitness philosophy ?

My personal fitness philosophy is based on the saying, ‘Dreams don’t work unless you do.’

 

Best advice you give to anyone who wants to reach their fitness goals.

Best (and simple) advice I want to give is 

1 .focus on your diet

2 .focus on your workouts 

3 .focus on getting good sleep

4 .Discipline

5. Diet+workout+sleep+Discipline=100%

 

 What would a day in your life look like?

My day starts with a super focused mindset. I start my day drinking lots of water then doing my everyday chores. Then it’s off to my ‘iron temple’ that is my gym.

 

What workouts do you enjoy the most?

Workouts that I enjoy a lot are push, pull, legs and push, pull, legs 🙂 🙂

 

What is the part that nutrition has played in your journey?

It is good nutrition that really helps to store a good amount of muscle mass with a healthily functioning digestive system. So yes, I’d say nutrition plays a major role in my fitness lifestyle.
