Tell us a little about yourself & your fitness story.

Hi, I’m Aslam, a B.com Graduate in Finance and Accounting. I was working in a corporate company which made me realise that I need to educate myself in fitness. That’s when I decided to do my ACE Certification in the year 2017 and quit my Corporate job. That was the  start of my career in fitness. Turned my passion into my profession. Now here I am helping others, mentoring people on how to start their fitness journey and helping people achieve their fitness goals.

What expertise do you offer the Fitness Industry?

Officially I started in the Fitness Industry in 2017 and currently work as a Callisthenics and Fitness coach in Saudi Arabia. I am experienced in Reformer Pilates, Functional training, Callisthenics training,Personal training and Rehabilitation training for injured people.

Tell us about your training philosophy?

Train Smart not Hard. By that I  mean know how your body and how it reacts to the training and the food you eat. It takes time to understand this by yourself but if you have a good coach to help and guide you in your fitness journey, these things become easier to understand and incorporate in your Fitness Lifestyle.

How do you keep your clients motivated?

By showing them the mirror of their future, whether they want to spend good time with their grandkids in a healthy way or rest somewhere in a hospital bed??

What do you see as your greatest strength? Weakness?

Strength: Communicating with people in a way they like and in a way they would listen and understand.

Weakness: I am too straightforward.

What role has nutrition played in your fitness journey?

A big role, I would say.  I need energy to perform my tasks every day, stay energised every day and have a smiling face every day!

This is possible only when you have Quality food with Quality sleep.

Balancing diet and portion control is my way of a balanced nutrition plan.

In your experience, what is the best way to stay updated with the latest in fitness?

Take the client’s complication (back pain, shoulder pain, old age, sciatica) as a chance to learn as much as possible about that particular grievance and you are forced to learn a lot.

How has being so fit benefitted other areas of your life?

Keeps you happy and active all the time. Makes your work easier and also the quality time that you get with your family and friends. It also increases your confidence in all other areas.

Tell us a quote that best describes you.

“I give my BEST in every aspect and live the REST”.

“If you want a new outcome, you will have to break the habit of being yourself and reinvent a new you”.

“Don’t give up before you even try!”.

“All Habits serve you in some way”.

“The real man smiles in trouble, gathers strength from distress, and grows brave by reflection”.
